One of less than 1% of all U.S. charities to receive Charity Navigator’s highest rating 17 years in a row, Give Kids The World Village is an 89-acre, whimsical nonprofit resort in Central Florida that provides children with critical illnesses and their families from around the world with magical week-long wish vacations at no cost.

More than 30,000 children in the U.S. are diagnosed with a critical illness each year, and half of those who are eligible for a wish choose to visit Orlando. Give Kids The World is the nonprofit that fulfills all of these wishes. From life’s simple pleasures to the stuff that dreams are made of, every wish family is treated to an all-inclusive experience including transportation; accommodations; all meals and snacks; nightly entertainment; donated theme park tickets; daily gifts; and non-stop fun at the Village, a storybook destination all its own – featuring an array of accessible rides and attractions. Since 1986, nearly 200,000 wish children and their families from all 50 states and 77 countries have been welcomed to the Village to laugh together, play together, and create priceless memories away from hospital stays and medical treatments.

Online registration for the 2025 Service Day will open on June 16, 2025!

We invite you to participate in the WCI 2025 GKTW Service Day on the morning of Saturday, August 16 – just before the WCI Conference officially begins. Whether you volunteer at the Orlando World Center Marriott or travel to Give Kids The World Village, this is a wonderful opportunity to give back and connect with others in the workers’ compensation community.

We expect to top over 1,000 volunteers again this year, and we’re excited to bring this meaningful experience back to the WCI community. Friends & Family Program

2025 Friends & Family Donations

Through the WCI F&F Program, individuals and companies are encouraged to create a team page to help our fundraising efforts for Give Kids The World. While the success of our event relies primarily on the generous company sponsorships received throughout the WCI industry, the F&F Program was created for the individuals and friends within each company who also wish to donate to our overall cause… $5, $10, $25, etc. Every donation counts and helps us reach our goal. Once a team page is created, a link to your team page can be shared with your “Friends & Family” to help raise money for the kids and families of the Village and WCI’s overall goal for 2025.

Give Kids The World relies on the generosity and compassion of partners like WCI and caring individuals like you, and contributions in any amount will be greatly appreciated. 2024 GKTW Initiatives

Give Kids The World Service Day & Gala

“Thank you to all the individuals and companies who participated in the 2024 WCI GKTW Service Day and Give Back Gala. Together, we put in over 1,200 volunteer manpower hours with over 650 volunteers in one morning to help beautify the village and then later that night, raised enough money at our Gala to write a BIG check in the amount of $200,000. Over the last 11 years we’ve raised $1.2 Million dollars! It’s amazing to see so many people in the WC community coming together, year after year for this amazing cause and knowing that we’ve made a positive impact in so many families. Saturday started off with the annual Give Kids The World Service Day. Volunteers, representing a record 120 companies, helped work on a variety of projects including pressure washing, planting shrubs, hanging Christmas lights, and making decorations.
